What if I don't have any spare carpet ?

If this is the case, we can take carpet from a built in robe or linen cupboard to complete the patch repair and then replace these areas with something similar we keep in stock in our work vehicle.

What if I don't have any carpet in a built in robe or linen cupboard ?

We can take carpet from beneath a bed, piece of furniture or behind a door and replace the bare area with something similar we have in stock.

If this is not an option, then we would need to order a piece of matching carpet if it is still available. We would need you to supply the exact make and manufacturer of the carpet.

Once we have these details, we will be able to source a piece of carpet, if available, and use it to complete the repair.

What is involved with a patch repair with carpet that is also water damaged ?

With water damaged carpet, we uplift and dispose of the carpet, and remove any underlay and smooth edge (edging strip) which has been affected by mould. We apply a mould treatment to the sub floor, install new smooth edge and underlay, then we continue with the patch repair.
